New York, April 7, 2005—The NYU School of Medicine Master Scholars Program & the Sackler Institute Colloquium are pleased to introduce the Jonas Salk Celebration Week. This week-long celebration focuses on the poliovirus, its history in the world, and on Dr. Jonas Salk, the developer of the polio vaccine.
