CTSI

Translational Research and Novel Technologies
Taking a pulse

The Translational Research and Novel Technologies component of the CTSI will promote the development of new therapies and novel study designs for efficient and rapid testing of these therapies. In addition, the identification of novel pathogenic mechanisms is critical for understanding disease processes and devising new approaches to treatment.

The Translational Research and Novel Technologies component of the CTSI will enhance the capacity of NYU to promote development of new approaches to medical and clinical problems. The rational development and support of investigational cores, including: Proteomics, Genomics (Microarray, High throughput genetic screening), Imaging, Experimental Pathology, and Tissue Banks, will make these cutting-edge technologies more available for study in the clinic and will improve the application of these technologies to the study of disease.
