By promoting collaborations among investigators in different schools and colleges of the University, the CTSI will stimulate the development of novel informatics approaches to clinical problems. The consolidation of educational resources across the University will make these efforts more efficient and help to streamline the regulatory process without compromising patient safety.

The primary function of the Core Laboratory is to provide molecular biology support for GCRC clinical research protocols.

The NYUCI Genomics Facility is a fee-for-service laboratory operated by the NYU Cancer Institute as a Core Resource for the NYU School of Medicine.
Pathology
The primary components of the Experimental Pathology Shared Resource are Tissues Acquisition and Banking and Histopathology.
Proteomics
The goal of the NYUCI Proteomics Core Facility is to assist scientists at NYU with their research by helping them to characterize proteins of interest.
FreezerWorks
The FreezerWorks freezer management package allows the GCRC Core Lab and GCRC investigators to reliably store and retrieve samples and data they need for their labs.
