One of the most precious resources for investigators is access to a well-documented repository of appropriate biological specimens. The CTSI will provide centralized access to the various biorepositories within NYU. It will establish a single database listing all of the samples and their locations and develop a single process for accessing these repositories.

Also, a new informed consent process for patients will permit access of investigators to specimens collected at various sites for different purposes.
