Center faculty members have also utilized Center resources to aid local community members in assessing environmental concerns. Our COEP scientific collaborations have primarily involved providing resources, upon request, to the community to aid in their assessments of health risks. In the past, this has involved providing both scientific expertise and/or equipment to the community group/individual. We also have provided equipment to other researchers in the New York area to assist them in carrying out their community environmental monitoring outreach.
