The Department of Radiology at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases provides complete inpatient and outpatient diagnostic orthopedic radiology services including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Ultrasonography, and Conventional Radiography. A multitude of musculoskeletal interventional procedures including bone biopsy, arthrography, CT and MR arthrography, diagnostic and therapeutic articular and spinal injections are performed by skilled, board certified radiologists. Our neurointerventional specialist also perfoms discography and the highly effective new vertebroplasty procedure for treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures. The faculty includes several internationally known musculoskeletal radiologists with expertise in all aspects of osteo-radiology that are considered among the best in the nation.
