The Fifth Annual Conference on Latino Health, scheduled for
May 4-5, 2007, will target primary care physicians, nurses,
public health specialists, allied health professionals, and executives
and staff from organizations providing services to Hispanic communities.
The purpose of the Conference is to review the epidemiology, diagnosis
and management of diseases disproportionately impacting Hispanics in
the US. Panels and posters will be presented.

We invite abstracts that reflect international, national and local innovative programs, initiatives, or recently completed/ongoing research that pertain to the Social Justice Issues Affecting the Health of Latinos throughout the life-cycle including:

• Mental Health and Well-Being in Young Adults
• The Diabetes Connection: Obesity and Heart Disease
• Violence and the Justice System
• Hepatitis and Liver Disease
• HIV
• Enhancing Education, Outreach and Service Delivery
• Disparate Health and Healthcare Services
