About your Interview

Welcome to your MSTP interview at NYU School of Medicine. We look forward to learning about you while you learn more about our Medical Scientist Training Program, our fellows and our outstanding faculty. All ongoing correspondence concerning your interview will transpire through email. After receiving your Invitation to Interview with the NYU MSTP from Dr. Ulane, follow the instructions provided in the letter. We will arrange for your arrival in NYC on Thursday with a Saturday departure. Please notify Ms. Arlene Kohler to arrange accomodations for your visit and Ms. Cindy Meador to discuss your interview arrangements.

In most instances, you will stay just three blocks (easy walking distance) from the medical center at the Affinia Dumont Hotel, 150 E. 34th St., (212) 481-7600. Please arrive at the 550 First Avenue entrance to the NYU School of Medicine at 6:00 pm on Thursday evening and join MSTP fellows for dinner and one of our bi-weekly scientific seminars given by current faculty members at NYU. Your interview day will get underway at 8:30 am Friday morning with bagels, coffee and juice in our newly opened Smilow Research Building. After our wrap-up session at 5:00 pm, the fellows will be your escorts as you enjoy the hospitality of our city.
