NYU’s innovative two-year program prepares General Internists for careers as Clinician-Investigators in Medical Education. The Division of General Internal Medicine provides a fertile laboratory for educational innovation and mentored research, the cornerstone of the program. Fellows earn a Masters of Science in Medical Education by completing formal training in Research Methods, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy, Teaching Theory and Skills, Curriculum Design, Academic Leadership, and courses at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education.
Masters of Science in Medical Education
The NYU MS in Medical Education prepares physicians for careers as academic Clinician-Educator-Scholars through didactic training in medical education and research methods, and mentored education research. The degree is offered by the NYU School of Medicine in collaboration with the NYU Steinhardt School of Education.
