Joan Reibman, MD, was recently honored by the American Lung Association of the City of New York as a 2006 Life and Breath Honoree.

Dr. Reibman is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Environmental Medicine, and is also the Director of the Bellevue Hospital/NYU Asthma Center. She was recognized for her outstanding dedication to fighting asthma and lung disease through quality patient care and research into the causes of and cures for respiratory illness.
