Breathing is a bodily function that is both under voluntary and involuntarily control. Breathing exercises can act as a bridge into those functions of the body of which we gernerally do not have conscious control, such as blood pressure, heart rate, circulation, digestion and many other bodily functions.
The MindBody Education & Patient Care Program uses breathing techniques to facilitate these changes within the body for health and well being.
