Continuing Education and Professional Development

NYU Hospitals Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New York State Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Contact hour programs relate to clinical practice areas such as critical care, maternal–child care, medicine, surgery and rehabilitation as well as professional and leadership development.

Opportunities are provided and nurses are encouraged to participate in professional development activities and educational activities provided on site as well as by other organizations and schools.
