- Four procedural rooms: Three GI and One Pulmonary
- Patient Population includes Pediatrics and Adult, including Geriatrics
- Nursing care focused on patients pre, intra and post-operative phases
- 5,000 procedures performed annually
- NYU Endoscopy offers a wide range of advanced high tech treatment on an Inpatient/outpatient basis including but not limited to:
- ERCP
- EUS
- Esophageal/Colon/Bronchial Stent Placement
- Hemorrhage Control/Variceal Bleeding
- EMR-Endoscopic Mucosal Resection
- Dilation
- Ablation with Barr X
- Peg Insertions
- Colonoscopy
- Gastroscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- Endoscopy staff are part of an interdisciplinary team collaborating with:
- Gastroenterologists
- Pulmonologists
- Nurse Anesthesists
- GI/Pulmonary Fellows
- Nurse Practitioners
- Anesthesiologists
- Radiology Staff
- Operating Room and Day Surgery Staff
- NYUHC orientation includes classroom and clinical unit activities
- Experienced RN’s only
- Working with a skilled and dedicated preceptor, you will refine your general nursing practice while advancing your assessment skills
