SURGICAL SERVICES

The Surgical Service consists of several nursing units with a variety of defined patient care areas. These include intensive care units, step down areas, and dedicated nursing units focused upon providing our patients and families with professional knowledge and care. There also is a Short Stay Unit, designed to provide intensive education and support to our patients and families requiring brief hospitalizations. Moreover, our Same Day Admit unit serves as a staging area for both our pediatric and adult preoperative and procedural population. Our nurses have the opportunity to participate in the scholarship of our nursing community and promulgate our continued clinical excellence.
