Previous: Training Goals
The internship year is divided into three four-month rotations. While some rotations are required of those interns in the Child and Adolescent Psychology and Forensic Psychology Tracks of the internship, each intern has an opportunity to select his/her particular rotations in consultation with the internship director during the orientation process in July.
Outside of designated rotation times, the intern participates in year-long supervision activities, outpatient individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions and variety of lectures and other colloquia. In an effort to provide additional support throughout the year, interns also attend a weekly 60-minute support group. Participation in this group may or may not entail the disclosure of personal information.
