How To Apply

Eligible applicants are those who are in college, who have just recently graduated college, and who are at least seventeen years old and seniors in high school. Admission is highly selective. All of the application materials must be submitted together by the application deadline of February 15, 2009. Applications with any missing information and applications postmarked later than the application deadline will not be considered. Due to the large volume of applicants, applications submitted earlier will be reviewed more closely and carefully. The applications will be reviewed during February and March and you will be notified of our decision by mail in April 2009.

The application must be completed in black ink. When submitting the application, it is important that you specify the department and session you wish to be assigned to. Also indicate the departments and sessions that you would be willing to be assigned to if we are unable to place you in your top choice. All of the application materials must be submitted together by the application deadline of February 15, 2009. A completed application consists of the two pages downloaded in the application packet fully completed, your personal statement, and either an official or unofficial copy of your transcript. Applications submitted with any missing information or applications postmarked later than the application deadline will not be considered. Applications must be mailed. They cannot be faxed or e-mailed.
Housing
NYU Summer Housing is available for session 1 and session 2. However, NYU Summer Housing is unavailable for session 3. For information regarding summer housing at NYU, visit www.nyu.edu/housing/summer.
