The surgical team surgically treats cancerous skin conditions such as malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma and benign conditions as well. The dermatologist has an array of surgical procedures to treat the condition depending on the needs of the individual patient.
The surgical procedure is performed in one of our three surgery suites. Surgery is performed under local anesthesia; therefore, you are discharged after the procedure. Patients are given post-operative instructions and scheduled to return within one to two weeks after the procedure for follow-up
